When it comes to cloud computing and managed services, smart organizations live by the credo: “Trust—but verify.” Corporations that used to implement, maintain, upgrade, and protect their own computing infrastructures are now demanding all the functionality and benefits of a sophisticated IT environment without the expense and hassle of on-premise equipment and IT personnel.
The tradeoff for this cloud-based freedom is the need to trust outside parties to protect a company’s systems and data as well as their own staff once did. How can you assess an outside service provider’s ability to safeguard your most valuable information? That’s where trusted third-party certification comes in.
Since introducing our initial managed services solution in 2021, LRS has sought and obtained ISO 27001 certification for our Azure-based output management offerings. We’ve later subjected our people, processes, and premises to recertification by independent auditors as our cloud offerings have expanded over the years.
Now, as we prepare to more fully leverage the Azure-based Mission Control platform underpinning our SaaS solutions, customers expect our Information Security Management System (ISMS) to fully adhere to internationally recognized standards for security best practices.
For the third time in a row, we met the mark.

Watch this space in coming months for news about a number of new cloud-centric output management offerings from LRS. Although we are as excited as our customers about bringing these solutions to market, we understand the need for organizations to mitigate risk in any way they can. Independent certification of key technology providers is one way for businesses to increase their confidence and trust when deciding whether to share control of a critical part of their business like the secure delivery of key business information.
If you would like more detailed information about our expanded ISO 27001 certification status and what it means for your organization, contact LRS and we will be happy to share what we know.
