LRS and Siemens Collaborate on Output Management Interface

SPRINGFIELD, IL - August 13, 2013 - Levi, Ray & Shoup, Inc. (LRS) and Siemens Healthcare today announced the release of a new interface designed to streamline the delivery of critical healthcare documents. The jointly-developed solution is designed to reduce cost and complexity in hospital environments by reducing the number of Windows® print servers and printer drivers that need to be defined and maintained.

"LRS has a fifteen year history of working with Siemens to provide reliable, secure delivery of healthcare information for their customers," says John Runions, Director of Alliance Sales at LRS. "Our new joint solution for managing Soarian output builds upon those years of successful collaboration with Siemens developers and customers. The new interface gives clinicians and IT staff unprecedented control over critical documents used during the patient care process."

LRS® software simplifies administration in the Soarian environment by reducing the number of Windows print servers and printer drivers. LRS tools also streamline printing by receiving data directly from the Soarian Output Management System.

Siemens customers interested in learning about the new Soarian output management interface are encouraged to attend LRS? presentation at the "Innovations ?13 for Healthcare IT" event or email Ron.Peel@LRS.com for more information.
