• Opening the workflow details from a URL causes a java-script error and the page is not fully initialized.

• Sometimes the icon to add a workflow note is not visible, although the workflow is claimed by the current user.

• Searching by filing shortcut did not include the sub-folders, while searching by explicit folders did include the sub-folders. Now the sub-folders are always included.

• If the XML server is restarted during a Drivve | DM user session, workflow tasks are not loaded correctly.
• Sending emails with binary attachments fails sometimes.
  
• A document can be publicly shared twice without beeing noticed by the user.
  
• A user can download a document even if the user does not have the permission to download documents within the filing path of this document.
• It is not possible to remove inherited group permissions completely.
• If a subfolder is created, it removes the permissions of the parent folder under certain circumstances.
• A workflow search for status=All und assignee=Any does not find any results.
• After a workflow has been cancelled, document permissions for assignees of the last step are not removed anymore.

The following errors have been fixed in this version:

• If the documents within the inbox are shown on multiple pages and a document on page 2, page 3 etc. is opened, the first page of the inbox is automatically displayed if the document is closed.
  
• Under certain conditions the busy indicator of the Save buttons is not removed even if the saving process has been already terminated.
  
• If the index data of a document are changed within the inbox and saved afterwards, the index panel is saved and an error message (Unsaved changes) is displayed if the user made changes during this time.

• If the inbox contains a very large number of documents, some documents may not be displayed.

• If two documents with the same name are publicly shared at the same time and a notification email is sent, the email body only contains a URL for one of both documents.
  
• If multiple documents are publicly shared at the same time and the option "Send as Zip file" is selected for sending the email, txt is shown as file format of the sent attachment.
  
• If a space is opened and a new document is added to the space (out of the space view), the following error occurs: The name and the ID of this space is shown several times in the corresponding index fields each time a document is added to this space.
  

Office Integration

Microsoft Office files (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) now can be selected in Drivve | DM and directly opened in the corresponding Office application. After modification, the documents can be saved as new version and are automatically checked in Drivve | DM. The version is increased by 1.

• The Conversion Service has been optimized
• The browser Microsoft Edge is supported, now.
• In the inbox and in the task overview, the following information is displayed: a) names of those users acting as subsitutes for the user currently logged on b) names of the users for whom the user currently logged on acts as substitute.
• In the dialog opened by the About button, the entries Server and Recommended browsers have been removed.

• The settings of the Preferences dialog are not saved.
• After a Drivve | DM update it is not possible to configure a customized logo.

• Sometimes, the plus button for adding workflow, space or document notes is not displayed.
• Under certain conditions, the filter panel for workflows is not shown correctly.
• Under certain conditions, files are not saved.
• Under certain conditions, checking out a document cannot be reverted.
• In the dialog Add a new document, the Add button is not available after selecting a file and entering a file name.
• When creating workflow templates, it is not possible to move workflow steps using drag&drop.

The following errors have been fixed in this version:

• If a worflow search is done, the search parameters any (for example Assigned to = any) and open (for example Status = open) do not deliver any results.
• Documents the file size of which exceeds 10 MB cannot be publicly shared.
• If the document viewer is closed in an open space, the buttons of the action bar are not displayed anymore.
• In the document list, the values of enumeration fields are not shown in the corresponding translation, even the values are translated.
• If Drivve | Image and Drivve | DM are installed on the same server, Drivve | Image does not work anymore if the last Drivve | DM update is installed.

• The Conversion Service now support Open Office formats such as ODT.

The following errors have been fixed in this version:

• In the autocomplete list, space names are cut after 30 characters.
• If multiple spaces are entered in the index field Space name, the content of the field is deleted if the user clicks Save.
• If the index data of a document is printed, the index data printed is different from the index data shown in the file room.
• In the workflow overview, workflows cannot be sorted according to their priority.
• Some file types such as ZIP files and DAT files cannot be downloaded.
• URL coded Drivve | DM calls do not support list fields.
• Under certain circumstances, the Drivve | DM Proxy Service does not delete temporary files.
• The sorting order within table columns is not stored within the user settings. This refers to document, space and workflow overviews.
• If the file room of a document is opened and the user clicks the Workflow button, the Save button is displayed instead of the button Save Workflow & Index values.
• If a note is added to a workflow, layout issues may occur in the viewer.
• Invalid space types and space statusses are stored within the Drivve | DM database.

Autocomplete function

In the Space name index field, the autocomplete function shows the name, the type and the status of all available spaces.

French online help

The Drivve | DM online help is available in French.

The following errors have been fixed in this version:

• Under certain circumstances, the reference id of a space is written twice into the database.
• Under certain circumstances, newly created permissions cannot be directly edited.
• In the viewer, various layout issues occur.
• If you enter a space into the Space name index field and the space name contains a comma, the autocomplete function does not work.
• Under certain circumstances, it is not possible to a workflow via a workflow link.
• If you manually enter a date into an index field, Drivve | DM does not save the date.
• If you insert a workflow step into a workflow, due date and reminder date are not saved correctly.
•  Key shortcuts do not work in dialog boxes.

Available document actions for documents in the recycle bin

For documents in the recycle bin, the following actions are available:

• Downloading (only if the corresponding permission is available)
• Printing (only if the corresponding permission is available)
• Displaying the index panel
• Displaying the journal (only if the corresponding permission is available)

Displaying the number of sub-spaces, workflows and documents within a selected space

If you open a space, the number of sub-spaces, the number of workflows and the number of documents of that space is displayed. The respective number is shown to the right of each of the buttons Sub-spaces, Workflows and Documents within an opened space.

Keeping the space section last opened

If the user opens a space, displays its documents and then scrolls to another space, the document section is also shown for this space: Thus, changing from one space to another, the space section (sub-spaces, workflows or documents) last displayed is shown for the current space.

Drivve | Image Scan Client for Drivve | DM: Text extraction is optional

For the file formats PDF and TIF, the text extraction on the client may be turned of. This results in faster scans. For PDF/A the text extraction is always turned on.

Drivve | Image Scan Client for Drivve | DM: Start the Desktop Client Agent automatically if it is not available at the start of he scan client.
If the Desktop Client Agent was not started, when the scan client is started, the Agent is started automatically.

The following errors have been fixed in this version:

• If multiple files are shared in a zip file, an error occurs.
  
• It is not possible to assign users to groups if the group name contains blanks.
  
• Scrolling within thumbnails does not work correctly.
• If a new Word document is created and the user clicks the button "Archive document", no security message is displayed indicating that the document has to be saved first.
  
• If a Drivve | DM document is opened in Word, the Word add-in does not close the session after the document has been closed.
  
• For user without email addresses, the "Share" function does not work.
• Drivve | Image Scan Client for Drivve | DM:
  After a scanned document has been archived, the preview in the Scan client is not cleared.
• Drivve | Image Scan Client for Drivve | DM:
  If the Desktop Client is not active and the desktop shortcut of the Scan Client is clicked, the Desktop Client is not started.
  
• After a clean installation of Drivve | DM, it is not possible to archive documents.

The following error has been fixed in this version:

• In the space details the filing filter does not show the filing objects in alphabetical order.
  

Public Sharing

The function Public Sharing allows non Drivve | DM users to access documents in Drivve | DM. The function can be used via a Share button in the action bar.

For each document publicly shared, a URL is created. If the URL is entered into a web browser, a page is displayed on which the document can be downloaded. For each document publicly shared, you can define how long the document is accessible. In addition, you can display an overview of all documents publicly shared (menu item Public shares).

Document retention

To comply with legal requirements, the function document retention has been introduced in Drivve | DM. The document retention defines the time a document has to be retained electronically.

In Drivve | DM, the document retention is based on document types: All documents of the same document type have the same retention settings.

Preview of emails in the formats MSG and EML

Drivve | DM now supports the preview of archived emails with the formats MSG or EML.

Possibility to hide Drivve | DM titlebar

Clicking the Drivve | DM logo in the titlebar, you can hide the titlebar. Thus, there is more space for the display of documents.

Multi-selection of documents and spaces in the trashbin

It is now possible to multi-select documents and spaces in the trashbin and re-establish them.

Searching documents within the trashbin

It is now possible to search documents within the trashbin. In addition, you can use all search and filter functions of the "default document search".

Online help

Drivve | DM now provides a context sensitive online help. If you click the life belt symbol, a help page with information on the current context is displayed.

Displaying the login time and the last access within user sessions

In the Drivve | DM user management, users with administrator rights can display the login time and the last access of all users currently logged on. To display both data, the button has to be clicked which appears in front of the name of the logged in user in the user list.

Enhanced space view

The space view has been enhanced: If a space is double-clicked, the following sections can be displayed clicking the corresponding button:

Adding a space to a workflow

It is possible to add a space to a workflow. This can be done in the workflow details.

Index sets for spaces

It is now possible to select index sets for spaces during the creation of spaces.

Drivve | Desktop Client: Possibility to open Drivve | DM documents in Microsoft Office and save them as new version

The Drivve | Desktop Client offers the possibility to open documents from Drivve | DM directly in Microsoft Word, Excel or PowerPoint. Documents are automatically checked out and cannot be edited by users other than the users who opened the documents. After having edited the documents, the documents can be saved and checked in. The document version is increased by 1.

Local scan client

Using a separate desktop icon, you can start a local scan client, the Drivve | Image Scan Client for Drivve | DM. This scan client allows to scan documents using scanners supporting the TWAIN protocol, index them and archive them in Drivve | DM.

Desktop Client: Synchronisation of local changes to Drivve | DM

Up to now, changes were synchronised in one single direction only: From Drivve | DM to the hard disk of the user's computer. Now, changes can also be synchronised from the hard disk to Drivve | DM. This applies for new files or changes in existing files.

Desktop Client: Multi Server Login

It is now possible to manage multiple Drivve | DM server logins.

Desktop Client: Starting workflows while archiving

When archiving, you can now select a workflow the documents are added to. In addition, you can start new workflows based on a workflow template.

Customised logo for the Drivve | Image login page and user interface

It is now possible use a customised logo for the Drivve | Image login page and user interface. The necessary configuration has to be done in the Drivve | DM Service Controller.

Resizing thumbnails

It is now possible to change the size of documents thumbnails in the document list. This is done in the Drivve | DM Service Controller.

Full-text indexing for documents

To be able to search the within the document contents of a search result, a full text indexing is performed for all documents with supported formats (for example PDF, image and email formats).

Adding notes to document versions

In the journal, you can add a note to each document version. If you check in a document you have edited, a field is displayed in which you can write the note.

The following error has been fixed in this version:

• After an online update to Drivve | DM Version 2.7.771, the service DrivveDM Html-Server is not started again.
  

The following error has been fixed in this version:

• If the Safari web browser is used, the search field is not shown.
  

The following error has been fixed in this version:

• If the Share function is used, documents are not sent as attachments. Only emails without document attachment are sent.

The following errors have been fixed in this version:

• Under certain circumstances, views are not saved correctly.
  
• If the user downloads files the file names of which contain special characters, the download fails.
  
• Unknown email addresses cannot be entered in the Share dialog (dialog for sending documents via email).

The following errors have been fixed in this version:

• If it is not possible to display all workflows on one page within the task list, you can only claim one workflow. If you intend to claim further workflows, the Claim button does not work.

The following errors have been removed in the current version:

• Users can download documents for which they have no right to download.
• In the case of workflow notes with multiple lines, manual line breaks are removed after saving the note.
• Users are automatically logged of although the session is not over.

Creating an Empty View

Create a search view without configuring a search filter. This way, you can use a search view as placeholder.

Improved Layout of the Workflow Information Popup

The workflow information popup has been enhanced.

The popup shows information about the overall workflow and the current workflow step.

This popup is displayed, if you select a document and click the following icon:

Enhanced View Definition

If you define a view based on a filing path, it is not required to select a filing type matching this filing path.

Selecting the Text of a Note

You can select and copy the text of a note to the clipboard and insert it in another document.

Save and Reload Button have a fixed Position in Index Panel

The buttons Save and Reload have a fixed position in the index panel and are not scrolled with the index values.

Workflow Filter Visible by Default

If you open Drivve | DM for the first time and go to the Tasks area, the workflow filter will be visible.

You can display and hide the filter by clicking the following button:

The setting will be remembered for the current user.

Button to Add a Workflow Step Does not Work

The following error has been corrected: When you create a new workflow and select not workflow template, the button to add a new workflow step does not work.

Corrected Sorting in Drop-Down Lists

The following behavior has been corrected: Drop-down lists are not sorted in the correct order. Example: A drop-down list containing user names is not sorted in alphabetical order.

Creating a View without a Selection of a Filing Type

It is now possible to create a view by just defining the filing path. You do not have to select a filing type.

Delete Button is not Disabled when No Documents are Selected

The following error has been corrected: Although no document is selected in the hit list of a search view, the "Delete" button is enabled.

Deleting a Space instead of a Sub-Space

Up to the current Drivve | DM version, a main space was deleted, when you selected a sub-space in the space details and clicked the "Delete" button. This behavior has been corrected:

• To delete a space, you have to select it in the list of spaces and click the "Delete" button.

Disabled Controls in the Email Dialog

The following error has been corrected: In the case of an error after sending the email, the controls of the email dialog are disabled, i.e., it is not possible to copy the text of the email.

Display Problem with the Index Panel

The following error has been corrected: If you open the index panel in a context of a workflow, it opens below the graphic of the workflow. If you then search for a document and open a document, the index panel is not adapted to this window.

Error in Case of Adding a Value to an Index Field of type Currency

The following error has been corrected: When you enter a number with separator characters, such as 100.233.222,93 or 100,233,222.93 this leads to an error when this value is transferred to an e-form.

Error in case of Maximum Number of Available Filters

The following behavior has been corrected: If you build up a query using as much filters as available, an error occured.

HTML Links in Notes

The following error has been corrected: If you insert an HTML link into a note, the link does not work, i.e., when you click on the link you do not go to the target of the link.

Improved Error Handling (Handling of Duplicates)

If an error referring to one of the errors 8955 or 8956 (handling of duplicates), the corresponding error number is displayed in the error message.

Improved Search for Workflow Templates

The performance of the search for workflow templates has been improved.

Improved Space Search in the Index Panel

If you enter the name of a space, a short list containing the corresponding hits is displayed. The number of hits in this list has been increased.

Missing Paging Possibility in the Trash Section

The following error has been corrected: It is not possible to "page" through the Trash, when more files are in the trash than fit on one page.

Missing Refresh Button in Hit List of Search Views

The following error has been corrected: If you display the hit list of a search view, no "Refresh" button is displayed in the action panel. You have to switch to another search view and then return to the original view to refresh the content of the search.

Opening a Document by Clicking a Link

The following behavior has been corrected: When you open a document in Drivve | DM by clicking on a link in an E-Mail, the loading process is slow and the navigation process is not hidden from the user.

Printing the Index Fields Does not Include the Values for All Index Fields

The following error has been corrected: If you print index fields, not all index field values are printed. The values for custom fields created by for this installation have not been printed.

Strange GUI Behavior in the Group Permission Panel

The following errors from the previous version have been corrected:

• You can hide the complete group permission panel so that the handle to resize it is not visible.
• When you slide down the group permission panel, the scrollbar of the page increases.

Wrong Behavior of the Filing Path Selection in the Index Panel

The following behavior has been corrected: If you select the filing path in the index panel, the corresponding filing path (cabinet/drawer/folder/sub folder path) is not displayed.

Wrong Number of Documents Assigned to a Workflow

The following error has been corrected: The number of documents assigned to a workflow is not correct under some circumstances.

Wrong Default when Selecting a Group for a Workflow Step

The following error has been corrected: When you add a step to a workflow and assign a user group, "All" is selected as default from the "validated if" list instead of "one". This means that all members of the group would have to take care of this step.

Wrong Number of Hits

The following behavior has been corrected: If you do a search (for documents or spaces) and the resulting number of hits excedes the maximum number of hits, the wrong number of hits is displayed if you do further searches. This happens even if the number of hits of the following searches do not exceed the maximum number of hits.

Zooming out of a Document by Double-Click Does Not Work

The following error has been corrected: You cannot zoom out of a document by double-clicking.

Emails cannot be Sent when Using the SMTP Server

The following error has been corrected: When using the SMTP server, emails cannot be sent.
