LRS and Getronics partner to deliver productivity enhancements and cost efficiencies through a comprehensive output management offering

SPRINGFIELD, IL - October 18, 2006 - Levi, Ray & Shoup, Inc. (LRS) and Getronics today announced a strategic partnership aimed at enhancing print operations and decreasing associated costs for Getronics clients. The addition of LRS software solutions strengthens the output management options available within Getronics' Workspace Management Services.

"In recent engagements with client CIOs and their staff, we have specifically discussed output management as an area for cost and efficiency improvements," says Marilyn Nelson, Director of Marketing at Getronics. "In order to provide our clients with enhanced capability at a cost-effective price, Getronics needed to find a company devoted to driving efficiency with minimal human intervention. Through application of their software in our own internal operations and testing labs, we have confirmed LRS as best-in-class and are pleased to proceed forward with this partnership and enhanced offering for our clients."

According to John Howerter, Senior Vice President of Product Marketing at LRS, "We are excited about partnering with a respected service provider like Getronics. Our new VPSX® output management solution for the open systems environment is a great fit for Getronics' managed environments. VPSX software provides Getronics and its clients a reliable central point of control for managing all application output, regardless of its origin or destination. We expect that Getronics' large, demanding client base will showcase the extreme scalability of our VPSX solution."

The VPSX solution is a robust, open systems print server that provides guaranteed delivery of business-critical application output to a variety of printing devices. This POSIX-compliant software runs on several UNIX and Linux platforms, as well as Windows systems. VPSX software is primarily targeted at medium and large enterprises that run business-critical applications on non-mainframe platforms.

Fueled by VPSX, Getronics offer a complete turnkey solution tailored to clients' specific business needs. Utilizing assessment and engineering services, a client's output infrastructure is evaluated and reengineered for immediate savings and deployment with the VPSX solution.
